No review can express just how AMAZING every aspect of this market is. I have gone here for nearly 22 YEARS & never one bad experience. My family took me here as a child & I have ordered the same ever since. The owners & staff are SO kind, attentive, personable, friendly & fast & they truly do care about every customer. The food is phenomenal & there are many great options. Fresh, made right in front of you sandwiches & a wide variety of side options, soups, veggies, chips, cookies, drinks & more including local options! Cute little market/convenience type store with the best service you’ll ever get. Be sure to leave a good tip, they always deserve it. They show support for law enforcement as well which always makes me smile to see. My absolute favorite restaurant, no question. Give it a try!
For over 23 years this has been my favorite sandwich shop. It is the bar I hold all others to, and all others come up lacking. So delicious, so delightful. I love everything about it.
This local gem has excellent sandwiches made to order with daily specials. If they have a hot sandwich or BBQ the day you visit, get that amazingness! Their soups are great too. The market is small, but worth visiting on its own. They have local honey and artisan snacks along with gangster hip-hop chips I have never seen anywhere else
This little gem is one of the best places to grab lunch in South Salt Lake if you're looking for a great sandwich! They also have soups and sides and an awesome crew that make you feel welcomed and they take care of you quickly! It is more of a convenience store, but they do have some picnic tables if you want to have your lunch there. Big enough parking area that it's easy to get in and out.
I love this place friendly staff the owners always greet you and always in a great mood. Always feel welcome and there daily specials are good, I recommend for lunch or dinner they close at 3 so get in there quick.
This place has character and charm. It's a no frills joint for a delicious sandwich, soup or tamale. The staff were friendly...like very friendly. They treated me like I was a regular. There was a line at lunch hour but they moved us all along quickly.
Buy LOCAL from Jay and Dennis. Friendly and excellent service from all of the staff. Fresh sandwiches and salads, hot soups. If you are lucky enough to visit on a BBQ Pork day, definitely get one! I've driven past this place several times. You can tell it's been there for a very long time. I'd always wanted to stop in because the reviews have been really good. Turns out the reviews didn't lie. It's a little mom and pop shop deli sort of thing. Not a grocery. They had BBQd pork on their sign and that's what I got. I couldn't eat all of it because it was HUGE! My friend got a ham sandwich on Rye and she said it was spectacular. They were very friendly and super nice. We went to sit outside and on the table was this wet rag and I thought he must have gotten distracted in the middle of wiping, so I took it inside and he said no it stays on the table for people to wipe off their mess. We change them out periodically and put them in a bucket of bleach soap and water. What an awesome idea! I felt like a dummy. Haha. HONEY! They sell Honey from the vernal area you can get 2 lbs for $11.99!!! That's a steal! I'm going back for that. A+++
